PRE – ACTIVITY

Procedure:
| (1) Teach the numbers as usual.
|
| (2) Do a dictation of at least five five-digit numbers, one digit at a time (2-3-5-4-6)

ACTIVITY
Skills:Writing, speaking, listening
Organization: Individual, Groups of Three, Mixer
Situation: Introduce yourself as a number
Procedure:
| (1) Have each student choose a five-digit number and write it in their notebooks. Then they memorize it.
|
| (2) Put students in groups of three and they introduce themselves using their new "names"(numbers).
|
| (3) After they have learned each others names they get up and introduce each other to the members of the other groups.
|
POST – ACTIVITY
Skills: Writing
Organization: Individual
Procedure:
Have each student write the "names"(numbers) of his group mates and draw a picture of them.
Variation: They could also ask group mates where they are from and add this to the composition.
